In 2003, the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation was formed to award the valuable contributions of volunteers. The Presidential Service Award is a high honor given to thank and recognize individuals with a strong commitment to volunteer service at a national level. Volunteers are an integral part of our organization, that's why in 2010, PCYS became a certifying organization for this award.
